James Cannon is the Construction Manager at Creek Run and joined the Creek Run team in August 2014. James graduated from Muncie Burris High School and studied Natural Resources and Physical Education at Ball State University. James has certifications for the 40-hour HAZWOPER, 24-hour HAZWOPER Awareness, Hazard Communications, Hazardous Waste Handling, RCRA, ICRA, and OSHA 30-hour and 10-hour construction. James also holds a City of Indianapolis general contractors license.
James has over 12 years of experience as an Environmental Operations Manager/Field Technician and has extensive experience with Dual Phase Extraction, Air Sparge/Soil Vapor Extraction and Pump & Treat remediation systems. He has managed numerous treatment system installations using both horizontal boring (directional drilling) and open trenching techniques. His responsibilities include providing support to engineering in designing remedial system layouts, preparing bid specifications, evaluating and awarding remedial contracts, managing the implementation and installation of remediation systems by obtaining permits, and selecting and overseeing subcontractors. James also reviews remediation system operation status reports, analyzes system performance and optimization data, and prepares Quarterly Monitoring Reports, Corrective Action Plans, and remedial implementation reports.
James and his wife, Carla, have been married 19 years and together have two daughters, two sons, and six grandchildren. James enjoys boating, golfing, and spending time with his family.
